Brother and Sister

Rachel likes being able to "hold" Jake (with Dad's help of course). She is doing such a good job being gentle with her little brother now. Jake is getting bigger every day I swear. Hard to believe he is only 3.5 weeks old... how much they change in the beginning! He only fit into the Newborn size clothes when he was first born and yesterday one of the Newborn sleepers was too tight on him already... that is great. Rachel seems so much bigger now too. She has always been tall for her age but next to a baby she looks like a giant... We love our little ones.

Cousin Katence Visits!

Rachel and Katence had lots of fun in the pool and sprinklers. They also stayed up late giggling with each other at their first sleepover.

Happy Birthday to Rachel. We celebrated Rachel's 2nd birthday on Saturday. She loved her Sesame Street cake (chocolate of course) and all her presents.

Jacob Michael Iwaniw is HERE!!

Well, our new son (and brother) Jacob Michael Iwaniw arrived on Wednesday, May 7th at 10:06 p.m. He weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz and was 18.5 inches long.

The little guy was supposed to come on May 19th, which was the scheduled C-section date, but he decided he did not want to share a birthday with his mother!

Jacob is small but very healthy. He came out screaming and the doctors laughed because he hadn't even been fully delivered and was already yelling!
